Melanie Candido is a Registered Psychotherapist (qualifying) with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario. She completed her Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology at Yorkville University. She also works as an Instructional Therapist for children and youth with Autism, ADHD, and other exceptionalities. Melanie has achieved a Bachelor of Applied Science in Psychology from the University of Guelph-Humber and a Children’s Mental Health Certificate from Humber College.
Melanie places importance on having clients be the experts of their care, places their needs central in therapy, and aids in guiding them toward goals set together. Melanie strives to create positive change through collaboration and authentic connections with clients.

Lidya Lopez is a passionate and trained counsellor who brings a vast expertise in working with children, families, and adults in the Mississauga and Brampton Community. Lidya’s practice focuses on helping individuals and families to regain well being in their lives from a holistic approach, individualizing treatment based on their unique needs and circumstances. She values family dynamics and therapeutic relationships with clients and believes that change comes from working together in an open and nonjudgmental space.
Lidya provides therapy to parents, children, and adults presenting with a variety of mental health issues such as mood and anxiety disorder, depression, stress management, ADHD, bullying, social and life skills, and self-harming behaviours. She also supports parents who are struggling to manage their child’s behaviour, parenting training, as well as working with children whose parents are going through a separation. Other specialties include, anger management, bereavement, post-traumatic stress disorder, and workplace stress. Tara Gratto (Intern) is a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying) with the College of Psychotherapist of Ontario and she is currently completing her Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology at Yorkville University.
Tara is offering in-person and virtual affordable therapy to our community under the supervision of Lorena Patrucco, RP (Clinical Supervisor).
Tara completed her undergraduate studies at Wilfrid Laurier University, with a focus on Sociology and General History. She also holds a Master of Science in Education from Medaille College. Tara is a member in good standing with the Ontario Association of Mental Health Professionals (OAMHP).
In addition to her current studies, Tara has over two decades of experience as an educator working with children in preschool through high school. During that time, she worked both in Canada and the Middle East, holding several positions including teacher, guidance counsellor, administrator and preschool owner, providing her with deep insight into supporting children and families with navigating school support needs.
Throughout her educational career she has worked with a diverse range of families, including those with neurodiversity such as ADHD and Autism. As an extension of this, she also has four years of experience as an educational consultant supporting parents and caregivers with parenting.
With a strong foundation in child development, social-emotional learning, and sociology, Tara brings a holistic and compassionate approach to supporting individuals and families across the lifespan. Her academic and professional background in education and mental health has equipped them to work effectively with children, adolescents, parents, and adults facing a range of emotional, behavioral, and relational challenges.
